Will
A will is a testamentary disposition by which a person determines who should inherit after death and which assets should pass to specific beneficiaries.
A handwritten will must be written entirely by hand and signed. Place and date are strongly recommended so later versions and amendments can be classified clearly. Typed wills are generally invalid unless notarised.
Appointment of heirs, legacies, partition instructions, substitute or subsequent heirs and provisions for real estate or business interests should be drafted particularly carefully. Unclear wording often leads to interpretation disputes after death.
